Frozen banana: The banana must be frozen to create a smooth and thick smoothie bowl.
Frozen strawberry slices: Your strawberries must also be frozen to create a thick smoothie bowl. You can buy pre-sliced and frozen strawberries or slice and freeze your own.
Plant-based milk: Oat milk and almond milk are good choices because they have a fairly neutral taste that won't affect the taste of your smoothie bowl.
Peanut Butter: This is an optional ingredient that is perfect for those who love peanut butter.
Vanilla extract: This is also optional for some added flavor.
Start by freezing your fruit if it isn’t already frozen.
For the strawberries, I buy pre-sliced and frozen because it makes making smoothies so much faster and easier. I keep a bag in my freezer at all times because I make a lot of smoothies!
