How to Determine If a Face Wash is Vegan
Unfortunately, a lot of big skin care companies test on animals and use animal-derived ingredients in their products.
In order for a product to be vegan, it must be cruelty-free which means that the ingredients and products are at no point tested on animals by any companies. It also needs to contain no animal-derived ingredients, even if killing an animal is not required, such as with honey and beeswax.
To determine if a face wash is vegan, first make sure that the company is cruelty-free. Then check the ingredients to see if there are any animal-derived ingredients in the face wash. Some ingredients may be unfamiliar to you and it may be difficult to figure out if they are vegan or not. That’s why it’s much easier to use products that are labeled as vegan. Many cruelty-free companies list on their website which products are vegan. That way you don’t need to go through the list of ingredients on your own.
The Best Vegan Face Cleansers
