Chocolate Peanut Butter Dessert Hummus
This dessert hummus is a delicious chocolate peanut butter hummus that is perfect as a healthy plant-based fruit dip.
- 1 cup canned chickpeas (540 mL can)
- ¼ cup cacao powder
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons plant milk (almond or oat)*
- ¼ cup all-natural peanut butter
Makes approximately 1 ¼ cups of dessert hummus.
*I find almond milk and oat milk to be the best choices for plant-based milk in this recipe. Coconut milk may add a strong coconut flavour.
I like my hummus to be quite thick. If you want it to be thinner, add some more plant milk.
