Apple Cinnamon Breakfast Smoothie
Servings: 1 smoothie
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup spinach
- 1 frozen banana*
- 1 granny smith apple** (chopped)
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
Start by blending the water and spinach.
If you don’t have a very powerful blender, add the frozen banana next and blend.
Add the remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
*It’s best to freeze your bananas in pieces so that they can blend more easily.
**You can peel the apple if you want. I left the peel on for added nutrients, but ensure that you wash it well if you do this.
