These tofu tacos are:
- Vegan - Gluten free (if you use GF tortillas) - Oil-free - Filling - High in plant-based protein
Ingredients for the tofu crumble:
- 350 grams extra firm tofu - 1.5 tablespoons low sodium tamari - 2 tablespoons tomato paste - 1 tablespoon water

- 2 teaspoons chili powder - 1 teaspoon paprika - 1/2 teaspoon cumin - 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder - 1 tablespoon cornstarch
STEP 1: Press your tofu for 30 minutes. Slice it into thin squares, wrap them in a towel, and stack something on top.
STEP 2: Break the tofu into crumbles, then add the tamari, tomato paste, water, spices, and cornstarch. Mix it all up in a bowl.
Spread the tofu out on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 12.5 minutes. Mix and bake for another 12.5 minutes.
Transfer the baked tofu to a bowl and mix in the remaining tamari and tomato paste.
Now just assemble your tacos! I like to add salsa, avocado, and lettuce.
